Who is behind this

Clear Parting Docs is built and operated by Mauricio Fernández, in New Jersey. Not a call center, not a franchise, not a marketing site with a document mill behind it. When something is wrong with this product, it is one person's job to fix it, and you can write to that person directly at support@clearpartingdocs.com.

We are new. Here is what to do about that.

You are being asked to trust software with your Social Security number and the legal end of your marriage. “Trust us” is not an argument, and a number we made up would be worse. So instead of asking you to believe anything: go read the finished documents before you pay.The complete sample packet is free, needs no account, and is the actual output of this software — the same twelve documents, formatted the same way, with a fictional couple's answers in place of yours.

No other service in this category will show you that. We think the reason is obvious, and we think showing you is the only honest way to sell this.

What we will not do

• We do not give legal advice. We are not a law firm. This software transcribes decisions you have already made; it never tells you what to decide. When a question needs legal judgment, we stop and say so.
• We do not bill for legal advice. We sell software. If you want advice, you engage and pay an attorney directly and we take no share of that fee. We will also tell you when you should not be using us at all — which is the part that matters most.
• We do not tell every couple they qualify. If there is a restraining order, a real disagreement, hidden money, or fear in the marriage, the honest answer is a lawyer, and the product says so out loud.
• We do not mark up court fees. The $300 filing fee goes to the court, not to us. We never touch it.
• We do not sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to lawyers, not to anyone.

If it goes wrong

Full refund within 30 days if you have not downloaded your completed packet — no reason needed. After that, we refund any purchase where the software failed to do what we said it does. What we cannot refund is a court's decision: a clerk can reject a filing for reasons that have nothing to do with the documents, and a judge can require a hearing. If your filing is rejected, tell us what the clerk said. We fix anything on our side at no charge, and that report makes the pre-flight check better for the next couple. Why New Jersey only

Because divorce is state law, and a product that claims to handle all fifty states is either enormous or shallow. We know New Jersey's twelve documents, the three official Judiciary form numbers, JEDS, Directive #01-25, and what each of the 21 county Family Divisions expects. That depth is only possible one state at a time.
